Niro had been ordered by Kamina to patrol the surrounding area in his Gunmen, Razor, to see if anymore beastmen were planning on attacking them. " Well so far nothing but I can't let my guard down" Niro said piloting Razor across the wasteland.

Suddenly Niro heard a loud explosion and turned just in time to dodge a missile flying at Razor " Damn where did that come from?" Niro shouted angrily. A Scorpion gunmen jumped out in front of Razor " Ah you must be one of the humans who have stolen gunmen. I knew something was up when you didn't respond to my signal" the beastmen said. " So i'm facing some short of bug am I? Well I guess I will just crush you!" Niro shouted firing off his cannons at the Scorpion gunmen.

the scorpion gunmen quickly swung around its tail and hit back off the shots back at Niro and Razor causing him heavy damage. " Damn its not going like I planned." Niro said coughing blood.

Niro opened up the hatch of his gunmen and took out a rifle. He opened up fire on the scorpion mech which then hit Razor Razor onto the ground with its tail. " Stupid human all you have done is make very angry!" The beastmen shouted from within. Suddenly the scorpion mech was tackled by Gurren Lagann. " Kamina! Simon! how did you guys find me!?" Niro asked. " Leeron installed a tracking system into all of our gunmen so we could find each other" Simon explained. " Ha now we have cannon fodder to deal with" Kamina said with a grin.

Kamina made Gurren Lagann tackle the scorpion gunmen. " Simon use your drills!" he shouted. Simon nodded his head making two drills appear out of Gurren Lagann's right hand. Gurren Lagann then punched the scorpion gunmen with full force with the drills blowing it up and the beastmen inside. Niro sighed watching the two brothers work together " I once again have proved how weak I am compared to their teamwork" he said making Razor get to its feet. " Hey Niro we should get back to base since beastmen usually only travel by themselfs. There are probably not going to be any more gunmen attacking us today" Kamina explained to him. Niro nodded following Gurren Lagann with Niro back to the camp.
